Global-Oriented Students

Dadi Global-Oriented Student Explanation

Different parents have different goals and expectations for their students's upbringing, so they may set different learning objectives. In the ABCmouse guided learning mode, students who study are categorized into three types based on their English abilities, namely Rhythmic Students, Recitative Students, and Global-Oriented Students, ranging from low to high proficiency

Definition :

Global-Oriented Students are a type of student nurtured based on their level of immersion in English.

Based on the amount of time students dedicate to English learning each week and their educational objectives, Dadi defines students who invest a minimum of 600 minutes per week as Global-Oriented Students. This category of students can proficiently grasp the vocabulary, sentence structures, and books within the platform, enabling them to engage in English conversational communication. They are benchmarked against international school students in terms of their English proficiency and possess self-directed learning habits, inquiry-based learning qualities, critical thinking abilities, and a globalized perspective.

Learning Mode:

1. students need to have their personal exclusive accounts and be provided with exclusive Pad.

2. students have 300 minutes of English exposure time at kindergarten, allocated as follows:

1) Time allocation for English lessons:

--They can have a maximum of 5 American English lessons per week, each lasting 30 minutes, totaling 150 minutes per week.

--For students aged 5-6, an additional 30-minute ReadingIQ class is added each week, making it 180 minutes per week.

--Dual-Teacher English Class: Small classes have one session per week, while intermediate and large classes have two sessions per week, each lasting 25-50 minutes.

2) Learning Path and Content Volume Within the APP:

Global-Oriented Students have access to a dedicated learning path with approximately 5,000 materials. (Apart from this, they are free to explore other sections within the platform.)students aged 5-6 also have an additional collection of approximately 700 English books from ReadingIQ.

3) Through the platform, students can learn various types of content, including basic pronunciation, sentence puzzles, poems and songs, books and stories, classic nursery rhymes, and more. In the classroom, teachers also guide students in expanding sentence structures, describing pictures, and engaging in oral communication.

4) students are required to actively participate in campus-based English activities, with a total of 27 throughout the year, including 13 exclusive activities for Global-Oriented Students.

5) The global-oriented student puts a lot of effort into creating an  English atmosphere. On average, students speak approximately 800-1000 sentences in English each week, and English is also used exclusively for classroom instruction.
